Collaboration and Consolidation for a Shared Future
The inaugural Minerals Council of Australia’s (MCA’s) Sustainable Development Conference ‘Putting Principles into Practice’ took place in 2002 in Newcastle, New South Wales. Now over a decade later the SD conference is widely recognised as the leading minerals industry forum for communicating sustainable development and its practical implementation.
This year’s conference ‘Collaboration and Consolidation for a Shared Future’ will be held in Brisbane from 28-30 October. With a new look format, SD2013 will provide a unique forum for senior business leaders, corporate affairs professionals, industry stakeholders, and environmental and social practitioners to build capacity across key social and environmental issues for the mining and minerals processing sector. The program will combine a mix of both high level strategic presentations as well as practitioner based training to ensure the needs of all stakeholders are met.
